Dear Bobcat Families,

At Beach Elementary, our goal is to make every student feel welcome, valued, and part of our school community. When students are encouraged to celebrate their individual talents, they gain the confidence to succeed and make meaningful contributions to their learning environment and community.

Across the district, we are focusing on social-emotional learning through the Second Step Curriculum. These lessons help students develop important life skills like Growth Mindset and Goal Setting, Emotion Management, Empathy, and Kindness. We hope to give students the tools to understand themselves, build positive relationships, and approach challenges with confidence and care.

As always, we value our partnership with families. Your support and involvement make a tremendous difference in helping our students succeed and in continuing to make Beach a place where everyone belongs.

En la Primaria Beach, nuestra meta es lograr que todos los estudiantes se sientan bienvenidos, valorados y parte de nuestra comunidad escolar. Cada vez que a un estudiante se le anima a celebrar sus talentos individuales, obtiene más confianza para lograr el éxito y contribuir significativamente a su entorno de aprendizaje y a su comunidad.

En el distrito estamos enfocados en el aprendizaje socioemocional y usamos el currículo llamado Second Step Curriculum. Estas lecciones ayudan a los estudiantes a desarrollar habilidades para la vida importantes como una mentalidad de crecimiento, implementación de metas, manejo de las emociones, empatía y amabilidad. Esperamos brindarle a los estudiantes las herramientas para entenderse a sí mismos, fomentar amistades positivas y enfrentar los retos con confianza y consideración por otros.

Como siempre, valoramos nuestra sociedad con las familias. Su apoyo y participación hacen una gran diferencia en ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a tener éxito y a seguir logrando que Beach sea un lugar al que todos pertenecen.
