Mr. Matt Fasana

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Beach Elementary School. I believe every child deserves to be known by name, celebrated for who they are, and challenged to become their very best. I am passionate about creating a school where students are excited to learn, families feel welcomed as partners, and staff members are empowered to do their best work together.

With more than 20 years in education, I have dedicated my career to building strong relationships, fostering positive school cultures, and helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe the most meaningful learning happens when children feel a true sense of belonging, are encouraged to think critically and take healthy risks, and have opportunities to discover and develop their unique strengths.

As Principal, I look forward to partnering with the Beach Elementary community to inspire and empower every student to imagine what is possible, develop the skills and confidence to pursue it, and build a thriving future. I am excited to get to know every student, family, and staff member and to continue making Beach Elementary a place where everyone belongs, learns, and grows.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping, cooking and experimenting on my grill, and golfing. These are the things that keep me curious, connected and energized - and I bring that same enthusiasm and sense of purpose with me to Beach each day.

En mi tiempo libre, disfruto estar con mi familia. Me encanta explorar la naturaleza caminando por senderos y acampando, cocinar y experimentar en la parrilla, y jugar al golf. Estas actividades mantienen viva mi curiosidad y mi energía, y me permiten sentirme conectado, y traeré ese mismo entusiasmo y sentido de propósito a la escuela Beach cada día.

Welcome to Beach Elementary!

I am honored and excited to join Beach Elementary School as your new Assistant Principal and to become a part of this wonderful community! 

Before joining Beach, I spent my career as a seventh and eighth grade English Language Arts teacher. During that time, I served as a team leader for both grade levels and helped redesign our English Language Arts curriculum by analyzing student achievement data and aligning instruction with state standards. Beyond the classroom, I enjoyed coaching athletics and mentoring students, helping them develop not only academically but also as responsible, confident individuals prepared for success beyond school.

I believe that through collaboration, open communication, and a shared commitment to growth, we can create a school community where everyone feels connected and valued. Every student deserves to feel encouraged and inspired to reach their full potential, every family deserves to feel welcomed and heard, and every staff member deserves to feel supported and empowered in the important work they do each day.

As an educational leader, my goal is to build meaningful relationships, celebrate accomplishments, and partner with families and staff to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student. I believe that trust, teamwork, and open communication are the foundation of a thriving school community. Together, we can create a positive learning environment where students are challenged to grow, families are active partners in their children's education, and staff members are empowered to make a lasting difference.

¡Bienvenidos a la Primaria Beach!

Es un honor y una emoción unirme a la Escuela Primaria Beach como la nueva subdirectora y ser parte de esta comunidad maravillosa! 

Antes de unirme a Beach, fui maestra de lengua y literatura inglesa de séptimo y octavo grado. Durante ese tiempo, fuí líder del equipo de ambos niveles de grado y ayudé a rediseñar el currículo del departamento de Lengua y literatura inglesa analizando ​​los datos de rendimiento estudiantil y alineando la instrucción con los estándares del estado. Fuera del salón de clases disfruté ser entrenadora de deportes y mentora de estudiantes, ayudándoles a desarrollarse no sólo en el área académica, sino también en responsabilidad y confianza para estar preparados para el éxito al terminar la escuela

Creo que a través de colaboración, comunicación abierta y un compromiso compartido para crecer, podemos crear una comunidad escolar en la que todos se sientan conectados y valorados.
